Tameka F. Hudson

Sister Tameka (Tameka F. Hudson) was born in Atlanta, GA September 7, 1972. She accepted Christ at the age of 17. In due time, she would attend school in the city of Atlanta until graduating from Douglass High School in 1990. Seeking to further her education, she enrolled into Tuskegee University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Tameka returned to Atlanta ready to take advantage of new opportunities. Eventually, she found her first church home at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church led by Pastor William Flippin. Tameka was a regular member; she became church secretary, attended Bible study and various church functions. Unbeknownst to her, though, God had a blessing in store for her life, closer than she would realize.

One day at Greater Piney Grove, Tameka met the Reverend Earlie Amis Hudson and felt a close connection. In time this connection would grow into something more profound—she eventually married the reverend in 2003. She and Reverend Earl eventually parted ways with Greater Piney Grove to pursue their own Christian goals. They found a new church home, Greater New Harvest Baptist Church, and immediately began their new journey. Tameka recognized the importance of church assistance. She was the Director of the Youth Ministry at the Greater New Harvest Baptist Church and was instrumental in community outreach. She would also go on to successfully attend and graduate from the Masters Life program at Salem Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Williams. There she became a member of the Koinonia Ministry (church hostess and gave church announcements).

Having worked diligently for years, Tameka made the decision to further her education. She attended Central Michigan University where she received her Master’s degree in Adult Education. She now works in administration at Georgia State University. Sister Tameka with her husband Pastor Earl started “Come As You Are To Christ Christian Ministry – A Church without walls, without boundaries, without fees, and without judgments!” in 2006 and GOD has given Sis Tameka and Pastor Earl A vision to take the ministry online. They are the proud parents of four beautiful children.
