Earl Amis Hudson, Jr.
Pastor Earlie Amis Hudson, Jr. is a native of Atlanta, GA. He was educated in the Atlanta Public School System where he graduated from Fulton High School in 1984. He furthered his education by attending the Art Institute of Atlanta and Georgia State University. He accepted Christ at the age of eight, but this decision was not one the enemy wanted to come to pass. While being baptized, the Minister had to submerge Pastor Hudson three times, stating “You must have a serious calling on your life, because the devil is really trying to keep you from getting baptized.”
Indeed, God had a plan for Pastor Hudson. At the age of 25, Pastor Hudson accepted his calling and was ordained at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church by Rev. William E. Flippin, Sr. Pastor Hudson served as the Director of Outreach and as Staff Pastor. Under his outstanding leadership for approximately ten years, Pastor Hudson assisted the homeless and needy by providing food, clothing, and most importantly prayer. While under the leadership of Rev. William E. Flippin, Sr., Pastor Hudson was developing as a Minister of the Gospel and leader in Christ. With much thought and prayer, Pastor Hudson left Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church to accept a position at Georgia State University and ultimately begin his own home-based ministry, Come As You Are To Christ Christian Ministry in 2006.
